Erika Álvarez Álvarez
Erika Álvarez is a psychologist with a strong interest in research and teaching, with a particular focus on statistical analysis and the design of measurement instruments. Her work has allowed her to collaborate on various research projects, providing her with the opportunity to delve into the complexities of social issues, especially those affecting the most vulnerable populations. She is deeply concerned that these populations do not have the same access to education as others, and therefore, she aims to contribute to achieving inclusive education that offers equal opportunities for all.
In this regard, she also advocates for education that incorporates a gender perspective, convinced that fostering change among university students can create an impact beyond the academic sphere, promoting social transformations that, in the long term, lead to a more equitable society. Currently, she is studying how artificial intelligence can be integrated into teaching and learning processes with the goal of innovating and enriching educational practices while preserving students' critical and reflective thinking. For her, education is the most powerful tool to address social challenges and contribute to a better future for everyone.
